Firstly, HAPPY BIRHDAY HWEE SIANG!
Met my groupie (charlene, cheryl and ann ann) at National Library. We spent 40minutes trying to find a place with plug, sit down and kick start our project. However this libary is useless-ly BIG. Plenty of spaces wasted, level 5 and basement were the only places to discuss, but was packed with people. Basement had plugs no seats, and seats with no plugs and we cant sit on the floor!! In addition, one of the library security guards was too strict and unfriendly. GR! luckily there was a nice librarian a floor above the unfriendly one.
Ended up going to Bras Basah mac. Cheryl spotted the plug with her eagle eyes. hhha! then we found a good fengshui (near the plug) seats and start our project. The cosy mac was great, SO many times better than the library. A grumpy manager of mac attempted 3 times to buy mac food or make space for the in-coming customers. We ended up bring a small packet of fries as a 'display piece' of the table.
We left the mac while i went to met neo at amk to hunt of hwee siang's present. Walked around for a few times, finally settled on a gift that suits him. Better treasure it eh! We needed to find a place to wrap the present. The only place that was more available was library (tell me there's better alternatives). First time wrapping a present in the library. it was considered noisy in contrast with near deafening slience in the library, then we headed to his house.
Had dinner, chit chatted, cut cake then neo and i left earlier.
