Outdoor PE

Woke early in the morning to set off to Pasir Ris Park for Outdoor PE! Took a cab down because i was running late. Reached at 7.20am. In charged of the station 'Futuristic Sport hub' with Ms Sharon Yeo (PW hod).
This station is so PW!! Students are required to build a futuristic Sports hub using sand with some sandcastle equipment. They will be judged by their creativity and teamwork!
During the preparation, trained a little on arm strength by carrying a few pails of water for the sandcastle building. We had to clear some rubbish on the shore and had 3 bucketful of rubbish. We had a great spot because we were by the seashore with a pictureque view of the ocean with the gentle sea breeze. Ms Yeo came prepared! She brought a foldable stool, a cloth for the ground, umbrella, a small bunch of grapes, bottle of drink,hat and some of other small things. haha! little kiddy, easy going are what i like about her! Both of us made a bet on when will be our words on the sand be washed away by the rising tides. In the end,both of us lost the bet because the tides came in sooner then we thought. Looking around me, I'm so tempted to jog or cycle in the park!

Some students came in groups. Looking at them constructing and after that giving us a description of their hub is really interesting! Some of them had really good and innovative ideas it was like doing their project work oral presentation. hhaa! Those were impromptu too! Some not that good but still enthusiatic. hahah! Wave 3(3rd batch) was cancelled because it seemed like there would be a thunderstorm. But it didnt rain. However it gotten a little dark during the 4th wave. I could see the dark clouds slowly approaching. It didnt get cancelled despite of the drizzles.
eunice, bala, rid, zu, jing,nic and i were in the same group. The class was splitted into 2 groups. Aww.. thought we could play the games as a class but in the end still got separated. hai.. everything went fine. We kite flying was awesome. The station ic said that we were the best group for keep the kite flying for the longest time. haha! And bala taught us how to keep the kite flying, just move hands front and back. hahha!

This finally ended at 4.15pm, if possible i would like to stay on to cycle. However, the rest were not free. aww.. guess we wil arrange it at other days! then i left with vinitha, sharon,sharan, john and kenneth to the interchange and headed home. 1 hour and 30mins of bus ride! Plenty of time to sleep in the bus. ahha!
