It's the big big day for 26 countries and participants who joined this very event!
It's the NIKE 10K HUMAN RACE!
Met Qian bi earlier for lunch together and to change our shirt size. ahha
We reached Padang at 1pm plus, it was quite empty,the most booths were empty. Only some crews preparing various things. When both of us managed to get our shirts changed, we were so happy! haha!
It got me so hyper up! so excited and influenced qian bi too! ahha!!! We went suntec to kill time. But ended up shopping! whoopsy! been a long time since i've shop.
As time goes by, more and more reddies were spotted. Then showed that it was getting closer to the starting time. (: Met jiayu and went to deposit our bags.
Coincidentally saw a friend that i've never seen for around 8 months! wow wow wow! didnt expect that i will see my friend! And it's so coincidental, out of so many people present! my friend saw me too! i think my friend was a little shocked to see me. (: Glad to see you again! haha! was wondering when will i be seeing you (: haha, last time was your turn, now it's my turn. hope i will have a chance for my turn. as long as you're happy, then it's ok with me.
Met up with huiling, zu(phew! luckily you found your precious championchip!), rid, jia2, nic, kenneth. There were ALOT ALOT ALOT of reddies at the starting point. We ran together for the 10k. Thanks hl, zu,rid, qianbi for waiting and looking out for one another! (: ran together with qian bi! Finished the race in 1 piece and in 1h 30mins according to the signboard and 1h 17mins according to qianbi's watch. Great to have bands along the way playing songs cheering us on. (: We only paused twice for a drink and ran all the way. Wah... felt bad littering the used cups on ground.
lazy to go into the details. haha, anyway the fastest person completed the race in 35 mins. thats so fast!!! SRJC WON THE SCHOOL CATEGORY!!! hah! Mr Tan was smiling ear to ear. ahah! 10 000 bucks! ahha! stayed to watch the concert. BOYS LIKE GIRLS! haha! The atmosphere was great. everyone was jumping, cheering during boys like girls concert. haha! Though i'm not their fan, but i joined in the fun too!! ahha! cool! After that, i felt like i had run another 5k. haha.
there was a significant difference from the audiences' response of local bands and Boys like Girls. tsk tsk tsk
Went home with feets feeling very suan(don't know what is it called in english). Time to have a good rest! Good job peeps!
