My family met up with my cousin's family in the airport. We checked our luggage and had our dinner in the airport. Faster then i expected, my aunt, cousins, Amelia and benedict and i checked in. wow! too fast for me to experience any emotions. hahax. We took the Dutch Airline, KL838 at 11.30pm to Amsterdam, holland.
The plane was rather warm then it gradually turned colder and colder until it was freezing cold. Despite of the freezing temperature preventing me to sleep, i managed to get some sleep. hahax, first time so ridiculous, fingers went cold until it became numb on the plane. haha! first time so cold till like this in air-conditioning. hahax.
-Monday, 30 October 06, 2nd day-
During breakfast at around 10am, this was the first time that i ever ate a tasty yoghurt(after having a horrible experience of having a mouth of some terrible yoghurt at huiling's house).
Alighted from the plane at Amsterdam then waited for the other plane to KL1927 to Geneva, Switzerland. The plane that we were taking to Geneva was very small without any entertainment. The safety rules and precautions were life demostrated by the air stewardess.
We were staying over at my aunt's friend's house, Aunt Yang Joo, uncle Leong Chuan and Deodatus. UNcle Leong chuan fetched us from the airport and we had our lunch IKEA. The lunch was so big portion that my cousins and i had to share.
After unloading oiur luggage at their house, we strolled along the lakeside at Morges(the location of the apartment, in the state, Vaud). The was cooling there despite the sun hanging so high up in the sky, radiating heat. It was very peaceful there, people were seen families bringing their kids out(the kids there are all very adorable!!!!), walking dog(often seen, probably dog lovers? hahax), old couples(not seen in the singapore. hahax, healthy exercise). If you look across the lake, you can see the mountains opposite you, from green to white(SNOW mountain!!!) Peaceful and quiet, very good place to relax or read a book. =) (opps! sounds like advertising the place eh! ahahx!)
Then about 5pm, the sky darkened, night was arriving. We follow UNcle leong chuan to fetch Deodatus back from school (at Vevey). Reached home, Aunt esther and UNcle Leong CHuan started to prepare the dinner while we took turns to bathe. I listened to Amelia hp mp3 till i dozed off unknowingly without having dinner (jet lag i suppose.)
-Tuesday, 31 October 06, 3rd day-
Woke up wondering where was i. Am i dreaming? Where is this strange place? I took a while to realise that i'm really at switzerland and it's REAL! wow! ok... i shall start adapting to the new lifestyle! heex. With my aunt around, i have to sleep early and wake up early the next day, unlike back in sg, during hols i can slp for 12 hours. sobs... ahha!
After fetching Deodauts to school, we went to the Marche(means market in french). Their marche is very clean, dry and neat.
